The Turtle Formation is one of the first formations in the game that costed credits along with the Arrow Drone Formation.

PvP or Aliens?[]
This is bad for PvP because you will reduce your damage sources for not much shield power. However, you will also lose damage while destroying aliens but it could be great to use while travelling since it does not reduce your speed.
In Game Description[]
"Augment your drone control unit with the Turtle Formation. Increases shield power by 10%, but laser and rocket damage decrease by 7.5%."
Cost[]
This formation costs 1,000,000 Credits from the shop under drones.

Tips[]
- This formation is very bad for attacking aliens and completing missions with due to the reduction in damage.
- 10% shield bonus is not a lot of shields especially when you already have low shield power.
- Unlike the Ring Formation, this one does not slow down your movement speed.
- The other newer formations which cost credits is the Wave Formation and the X Formation but they are not recommended to buy.
