Prometium

Prometium is the most common ore found in Dark Orbit. It is red, and is the least valuable of the basic ores. It can be used in refining to create Prometid.

Note that Prometium and Promerium are very different ores.

Obtaining Prometium

Prometium can be obtained by:

• Collecting Prometium rocks floating in space, in various maps including X-1 and X-2. Each rock provides 1 unit of Prometium.
• Collecting the cargo boxes dropped by destroyed ships (both friend and foe) and Aliens.
• Building a Prometium Collector in the Skylab. (This will cost some Prometium)

Tips

• Collecting Prometium on X-1 and selling it at your base can be a good way to start earning Credits.
• Once you've earned a few credits and bought some basic equipment: as each rock provides only 1 unit of Prometium, and even a Streuner provides 10 units of Prometium and Endurium, it's normally only worth collecting rocks for quests.
