Overview[]
A Server is the main platform which gives various players around the world their own game client so that there are not too many players at the same time in one single server, a server can also be language specific.
For the players, every server is considered as a sub-account (or a different "save file") and transferring a sub-account from server to server is not possible. This means that progression between sub-accounts is separated from each other, meaning that you will keep your items from one server to that server and that you won't lose these items when you play another server.

Trivia[]
- Test servers open when the DarkOrbit Team announces that they want us to test an upcoming update, such as a ship or a new feature. To see when they want us to test, it's best you join the Official DarkOrbit Discord to be informed.
- New content usually gets posted on these servers first, to see if it has major errors.
- Global is the only server where everyone has the Peace Ambassador CPU.
- Global is also known as the PvE server. It is the only official PvE server.
- You can still engage in PvP though by activating your Peace Ambassador CPU and a few more methods.
- This makes Global a beginner-friendly server, as you don't need to worry about getting destroyed by others.
- Servers such as Global Europe, Global Europe 2, Global Europe 3, Global Europe 4, Global Europe 5, Global Europe 7, Global America and Global America 2 ARE NOT PvE servers, therefore you will not have access to the Peace Ambassador CPU on these servers.
- Just because they contain the word Global doesn't mean that they are PvE servers.
- Global is also known as the PvE server. It is the only official PvE server.
- When you move from a server to another after you've completed the starter quests from your first server, your starter mission for the other servers will be New Company Policy.
- The game assumes that you know the basics when you move to another server after completing the starter quests from your first server.
